Job summary

AAA-USA Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and set up multi-axis machines, verify dimensions, and ensure precision per drawings. The role requires experience with Fanuc controls, GD&T, and NADCAP/ISO quality practices. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to optimize processes and uphold 5S standards.

Relocation to Jupiter, FL is required; travel as needed. Immediate placement and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNC programming certification or documented training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manual and CNC machining of multi-axis machines.
• Familiar with Fanuc Controls and programming experience with multi-axis CNC equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T is required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, email).
• Experience with NADCAP, ISO 9001, AS9100 or similar quality programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using CNC multi-axis equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders or EDM.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Inspect completed components to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Set-up and operate manual and CNC machining centers.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, attachments and materials onto machines.
• Monitor speed and feed rates to meet tolerances and efficiency goals.
• Study drawings or engineering information to determine operations, dimensions and tolerances.
• Select tools, machines and materials per work instruction.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance on machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to exchange technical information.
• Fit and assemble parts to repair machining tooling.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work-center.
• Ensure quality and on-time delivery through meticulous work.

Essential Functions:

• Machine parts to specifications using CNC multi-axis equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders or EDM.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Measure and visually inspect completed components in process to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments based on drawing or work instruction requirements.
• Set-up, adjust and operate all of the manual and CNC machining centers in order to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments accessories and materials onto machines.
• Monitor speed and feed rates during the machining process to complete machining efficiently and within tolerances.
• Study sample parts, drawings, or engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate product and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
• Select the appropriate tools, machines and materials to be used in preparation for machining work based on work instruction.
• Maintain industrial machines per the required daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance schedule.
• Confer with engineering, technical lead, supervisor and manufacturing personnel in order to exchange technical information.
• Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tooling.
• Perform cleaning requirements at end of each shift.
• Maintain and improve 5s standards for work-center.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• CNC programming certification / documented training is strongly preferred.
• Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix.
• 5+ years of experience in industry with specific skills related to manual and CNC machining of multi axis machines.
• Familiar with Fanuc Controls and has programming experience with multi-axis CNC equipment.
• Working knowledge of GD&T is required.
• Experience in computer skills to include Xcel, Word and email platforms.
• Experience in electronic labor tracking databases.
• Must be self-motivated and possess a demonstrated ability to handle multiple issues in a responsive and decisive manner.
• Experience in quality systems. Prior experience working under formal environments such as NADCAP, ISO 9001, AS9100 or other quality programs.
• Must be a detailed oriented, high energy, self-starter with the ability to drive the successful completion of projects within specified time frames.
• Strong communication skills required both verbal and electronic.
• Strong quality, attention to detail and customer focus skills.
