Job summary

Diamondback Industries, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Machinist to operate Doosan CNC machines with FANUC controls, producing our proprietary components in a climate-controlled, safety-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting problems.
• Willingness to work night shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m.).
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Doosan CNC machines with FANUC controls to manufacture components per specifications and standards.
• Work in a climate-controlled, safe manufacturing environment with ergonomic mindset.
• Use measurement tools to ensure internal quality standards (e.g., 99.6%).
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machines to maximize uptime.
• Manage tool offsets, machine loads, and tool life to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and minimize waste.
• Monitor and optimize processes using cell-based software for quality and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

MACHINIST, NIGHT SHIFT

Job Summary: Diamondback Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Machinist to join our team! We are looking for a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of CNC machines to help us create our proprietary engineered components. While experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with a desire to learn and grow with our company. We cover almost 90% of your medical insurance cost.

• Work in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing environment with a safety and ergonomic mindset
• Use industry-standard measurement tools, gages, and specs to ensure internal quality standards of 99.6%
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machines as needed to ensure efficient operation
• Manage tool offsets, machine load, and tool life management to maximize efficiency and meet cost goals
• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize waste
• Utilize cell-based software to monitor and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency and quality
• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize downtime Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting problems
• Willingness to work night shift Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
• Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role: lift up to 70 pounds as needed
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing environment

Compensation up to $30.00 per hour depends on experience and years of service.

Standard background check and drug testing is required.
