Job summary

Andritz AG in Pittsburg, TX is seeking a skilled Machinist-Millwright to operate manual and CNC lathes, read drawings, and maintain quality. This role requires a strong hands-on background in machining and precision measurement within a manufacturing setting.

You will set up parts, use micrometers and calipers, and work with overhead cranes and various hand tools to ensure safe, efficient production while adhering to all quality and safety standards at our office-based facility.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Machinist / Millwright experience in a constructions or manufacturing environment.
• 2 years apprenticeship and/or Associates degree.
• 2 years of experience working with motorized equipment and various array of manual and electrical hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC lathes safely.
• Set up parts and dial in with minimal instruction.
• Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments.
• Read drawings and sketches.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace and ensure on-time documentation.
• Stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
