Prerequisites for Training
This is a program for enlisted military personnel. Trainee must be a current Service Member with CNC Machinist experience.
S&C Electric Co. US Fabrication is committed to the manufacturing and on-time delivery of these piece parts to the assembly operations with a very experienced staff of machinists who can operate a variety of work centers able to fabricate sheet steel, turn bar stock and machine raw castings into complex parts. In this job, you will work in a production environment, continuously tending a machine. After an initial training period, productivity and quality requirements must be met. Durations of set-ups and run times will vary. Tasks require a moderate degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion.

S&C DOD Skillsbridge Criteria
Job Title: Upon completion of the CNC Milling and CNC Turning courses, this SkillBridge training program will prepare the Service member to be hired as a CNC Machinist.
Cost of Program:
There is no cost to the service person. Reimbursement provided for room and board.
Length of Training:
CNC Milling will be 24 hours and CNC Turning will be 18 hours of class/hands-on instruction or a 2-week training program, meeting three times a week, for six to eight hours per session.
Location(s): All training will be completed in the Chicagoland area.
