You will apply advanced machining knowledge to complex work while helping ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.

In this role, you will work across a variety of parts, processes, and machines, including DMG Mori NT-series equipment. Your technical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement will directly support product quality, manufacturing performance, and on-time delivery.

Eligible new hires may receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program CNC equipment at the machine using G-code, conversational programming, or approved machine controls.
  • Interpret mechanical and production drawings, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions to plan machining operations.
  • Select and install tooling, inserts, fixtures, and work holding methods that support safe and effective machining.
  • Measure finished and in-process parts using calibrated inspection tools, including outside, inside, and depth micrometers; calipers; scales; and other required gauges.

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment, including working knowledge of DMG Mori NT-series machines.
  • Ability to program CNC machines at the control using G-code and/or conversational programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, production drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Strong shop math skills, including arithmetic, fractional-to-decimal conversion, and basic trigonometry.
  • Knowledge of machining fixtures, safe work holding practices, turning and milling insert geometry, and cutting conditions.
  • Understanding of appropriate feeds, speeds, depths of cut, heat input, and work-hardening considerations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a zero-accident safety culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience setting up and operating a DMG Mori NT4300 with MAPPS or CELOS controls.
  • Experience machining cast materials.
  • Experience machining stainless steel alloys and superalloys.
