An established industry player is seeking a skilled Machinist Level 2 to join their manufacturing team in Greer, South Carolina. Machinist Level 2
As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ourmanufacturing process by operating and maintaining various machines to producehigh-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of skilledmachinists and engineers to ensure the efficient and accurate production ofparts. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to qualitywill be essential in meeting our production goals.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by:
- Setting up and operating machines such as EDM’s and grinders to produce partsaccording to specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions todetermine machining operations.
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and makingadjustments as necessary using measuring equipment such as Calipers,Micrometers, and Indicators. Both analog and digital.
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues thatarise during the machining process.
Days/Hours:Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met utilizinginspection methods and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment or processes using RPS and/or RCCA
