Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes to execute precision machining processes.
2. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
3. Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
4. Inspect finished products using micrometers, calipers, and other tools to meet quality standards.
5. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain machine efficiency.
6. Collaborate with the production team to streamline processes and maximize productivity.
7. Serve as a working lead, bridging the gap between management and the shop floor.
8. Motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively.

Requirements

1. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
2. Proficiency in running MasterCAM.
3. Strong skills in setting up and operating 3-axis CNC mills & lathes; experience with 4 or 5-axis is a plus.
4. Experience with Hurco machines at the machine level.
5. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and quality.
7. Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and do basic arithmetic.
