The Machinist 1/C will perform mechanical maintenance duties in a chemical plant environment at Arkema’s Calvert City, Kentucky site. This role requires hands-on industrial experience and technical skills gained through a minimum of five years working as a machinist, industrial mechanic, or equivalent craft. The Machinist 1/C supports safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations through expert maintenance of rotating and process equipment.
Work is performed in a chemical plant environment with exposure to various industrial conditions such as heat, noise, and confined spaces. The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, lifting, and working in challenging conditions while wearing required PPE.
