Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Barry is currently seeking applicants for a Machinist IV 2. The Machinist IV 2 is responsible for production and control of electronic components. This role consists of operating Bridgeports, Kickpress, Furnaces, Vapor Honing and Bead Blasting, etc.

Job Location:

Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA, conveniently near main highways and recommended restaurants. There are 70 employees across two shifts working at our 40,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. This position is on-site.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform loading, unloading, alignments, cleaning, and maintaining machines.
• Read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Inspect parts and remove rejects.
• Work independently, learn quickly, and be highly motivated.
• Willingness to float to meet production needs.
• Follow work orders, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Complete work accurately and safely.

What You Will Bring

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Bridgeport, Kickpress, Furnace, Tubbing, and/or Blasting preferred.
• Familiarity with microscopes, tolerances, and measurement tools.
• Ability to learn new products quickly, work independently, and stay motivated.
