Job summary

Agile Space Industries in Durango, CO, is seeking a Machinist II to support rocket engine production at our Durango manufacturing center. You will work with our Manufacturing Director to maintain facilities that support the machining, assembly, and delivery of high-quality rocket hardware for in-space propulsion and R&D applications.

The role requires 3+ years of machining, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of machining experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, mills, and surface grinders.
• Perform inspections using metrology equipment.
• Provide feedback on engineering drawings to improve machinability.
• Maintain equipment.
• Assemble hardware as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Meet job standard times with minimal supervision.
• Lead, train, or mentor others.
• Support quality and compliance with QMS.
