Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks a Machinist for our Santa Isabel, PR location. You will program, set up, and operate CNC and manual equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision machines to produce high-precision parts.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and specifications, measuring materials, performing setups, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. Onsite role with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract.

• Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts into sub-units or complete units using mechanical equipment.

• Operate and transition between multiple machines (CNC, Drill, and others).
• Conduct inspections to ensure accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Review SPC charts and apply required gauging/measurement practices.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality and safety standards.

What You Will Do

Qualifications

You Must Have Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

We Prefer Experience working with Tool and Die. Experience operating and/or programming CNC machines.
