Who is Senior Metal Bellows?


Senior Metal Bellows specializes in welded metal bellows technology, serving critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Our 115,000 sq ft manufacturing facility is located on Route 1 in Sharon, MA.

What is the Position?


The Machinist II operates CNC and hybrid machine shop equipment, develops programs for computer-controlled equipment, and performs complex setups to produce parts with tight tolerances and finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve and maintain Operator Authorization(s).
  2. Set up fixtures for CNC and manual machines.
  3. Set machine origins as per setup instructions.
  4. Machine to precise dimensions, ensuring squareness, concentricity, finish, and parallelism.
  5. Load tools according to instructions.
  6. Interpret blueprints, work requests, and instructions.
  7. Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure specifications.
  8. Train other Machinists as needed.
  9. Manage material requests and maintain records.
  10. Perform labor transactions using basic computer skills.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent; completed apprenticeship or technical degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of machining experience.
  • Basic computer skills for transactions and documentation.
