Job summary

Triumph Accessory Services in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a skilled Machinist to operate manual and CNC machines, read blueprints, and produce precision parts. You will set up, adjust, and maintain tooling while verifying parts meet specifications in a climate-controlled shop.

The candidate should have both manual and CNC experience, be able to read drawings, and work with minimal supervision in a structured environment.

Job description

Summary

A Machinist's job involves operating manual and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision metal and plastic parts, often using blueprints, sketches, or CAD/CAM files. Previous CNC Machine Experience is required. They set up, operate, and maintain various machines like lathes, milling machines, and grinders, ensuring the parts meet specific requirements. Machinists also inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision instruments. This is not a CNC Operator position.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Qualified candidates must have manual machine experience and CNC machine experience. Must be able to read blueprints/drawings and make necessary modifications or repairs on the drawing. You must be able to run a manual lathe and manual mill as well as CNC mill and lathes.

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma/ GED.
  • Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
