Qualifications

Job description

Join a team of professionals

As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, set-up, and utilization of 5-axis mill machines, along with supporting processes used in the production of machined products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform set-up and operation of 5-axis milling machines.
  2. Inspect finished tools and analyze inspection results to confirm conformity.
  3. Perform basic TruePath operations.
  4. Consult with supervisor and/or tooling department for cutting tools and tooling needed for projects.
  5. Maintain fixtures and set-ups for use in projects as assigned.
  6. Monitor machine performance and report issues promptly.
  7. Inspect and document operations as per the Quality Manual and product development engineer requirements.
  8. Perform daily maintenance on machines, including checking oil/coolant levels and filtration systems.
  9. Support shop efficiency by maintaining clean and safe work areas and cooperating with colleagues.
  10. Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as CNC Mill or Lathe operator with basic setup skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (Epicor preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y 14.5 standards.
  • Experience with blueprint reading.
