• At least 2 years' experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe operator.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Job description

Join a team of professionals

Responsible for the operation, setup, and utilization of 5-axis lathe machines, along with support processes in prototyping and production of machined products.

Come Build with Us by:

1. Performing setup and operation of 5-axis lathe machines and inspecting finish tools.
2. Performing basic TruePath and/or Mastercam operations.
3. Advising and consulting with product development engineers, programmers, and tooling departments on cutting tools and tooling needs.
4. Maintaining fixtures and setups for specific projects as assigned.
5. Monitoring machine performance, reporting issues promptly, and collaborating with maintenance for resolutions.
6. Inspecting and documenting operations as per the Quality Manual and product development requirements.
7. Performing daily maintenance on machines.
8. Supporting shop efficiency by maintaining a clean and safe work environment, reporting hazards, and coordinating with other machinists.
9. Performing other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree in machining or approved apprenticeship preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe operator with basic setup skills.
• Basic understanding of trigonometry.
• Intermediate MS Office skills; ERP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y 14.5 standards.
• Experience with blueprint reading and metrology tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
