The role requires reading basic plans, performing some inspections, and potentially programming machines. The position is on-site for the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years machinist experience; CNC familiarity a plus.
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform heavy labor.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machine tools (drill press, lathe, milling machine, CNC) and other power tools.
• Read blueprints, sketches, production diagrams and drawings to fabricate machined components.
• Make shop calculations using handbook formulas to layout patterns and determine tooling feeds and speeds.
• Perform basic inspection using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.
• May program some machines and work with Lead to complete jobs on schedule.
