The Machinist I position is an entry level position for machining and fabricating. The individual should have basic concepts and working knowledge of measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers as well as vertical mills and lathes. The main responsibility of this position is to machine and produce products to print and/or direction. Individuals will be tasked to work with engineering and other machinists to develop products and habits conducive to company standards.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
