Job Summary and Mission

Responsible for setting up and operating Mazak mills, Mikino sinkers, Fanuc Robocut wire, and/or Okuma/Hwacheon lathes, as well as manual machines including lathes. The Machinist will produce precision parts to specifications, ensure efficient machine operation, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate CNC machines such as Mazak mills, Mikino sinkers, wire, and/or Okuma/Hwacheon to perform tasks like drilling, grinding, milling, etc. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
2. Program and adjust machine settings (speed, feed, tool changes) for optimal performance.
3. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
4. Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and quality.
5. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to meet specifications and quality standards.
6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining issues and optimize processes.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
8. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands

• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and handling tools.
• Work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise.
• Wear PPE as required, including safety glasses, safety shoes, cut-resistant gloves, etc.
