The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is seeking a Part-Time Machinist/CNC Operator Instructor for the Adult Education Program at our Mount Joy campus. This role involves instructing and training future Machinists and CNC Operators.

The instructor will develop curriculum, prepare lesson plans, select teaching materials, and teach adult students in the field of Precision Machining and CNC operations. The position is based at Mount Joy Campus, with start date to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Teach a wide range of subjects related to Precision Machining and CNC operations.
• Develop instructional materials and curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and grades.
• Use effective instructional techniques suitable for adult learners.
• Collaborate with secondary program faculty and industry partners.
• Foster program growth through outreach and recruitment.
• Maintain accreditation and credentials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Higher & Continuing Education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience as a Machinist.
• Valid PA driver’s license.
• Child Abuse, PA State Criminal, and FBI Clearances.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Salary: $30.75/hour. Schedule varies per term/semester. Location: Mount Joy, PA.
