Role Description

The Machinist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Tulsa, OK. This role involves setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and inspecting parts, adjusting machines to maintain tight tolerances, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. The Machinist collaborates with supervisors and teammates to meet production schedules, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and ensure safety and quality standards are consistently achieved. This position also requires accurate documentation of work performed and proactive communication about any equipment or production concerns.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines, including lathes, mills, and related equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong measurement and inspection abilities using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Knowledge of machining processes, materials, and basic shop math used in a manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and adherence to established procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
• Prior experience as a machinist or in a similar manufacturing role; trade school or technical training is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks required in a shop environment.
