Westinghouse, based onsite in Newington, NH, seeks an experienced Machinist to machine high-tolerance components for nuclear power projects. You will set up, program, and operate CNC equipment, read engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet tight quality standards in a union environment.

You’ll work with engineers and CNC programmers to optimize processes, participate in 5S/lean practices, and contribute to safe, reliable energy systems worldwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Operational proficiency in CNC machining.
• Knowledge of CNC G-code programming and machine operations.
• 3+ years with tooling, fixtures, setup, and process optimization.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities
