This position performs machine shop work for the repair and maintenance of dies, molds, and related equipment. In this role, you will set up and operate machine tools and fit and assemble parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout and machining procedures.
Located in Newport News, Virginia, Canon Virginia, Inc. serves as Canon’s only manufacturing, engineering, recycling, and technical support center in the Americas region. CVI produces new products using advanced manufacturing methodologies while also serving as a factory service center providing expert customer service in the repair and refurbishment of Canon products.
