Job summary

CIRCOR Naval Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist to run a Multus on 3rd shift. Training begins on 1st shift (6am start). After training, you transition to 3rd shift with a 20% differential.

Candidate must have CNC milling experience and be detail-focused, with ability to read blueprints. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC Mill, interpreting drawings, using precision measurement tools, and conducting quality checks.

MACHINIST A - 2nd SHIFT

Position Summary

CIRCOR Naval Solutions is looking for a CNC Machinist to run a Multus on 3rd shift. You will operate specialized machinery to machine components to specific processes and prints, requiring close tolerances. Training will be on 1st shift with a 6am start time. Once trained and moved to 3rd shift, you will receive the 20% differential. Candidate must have CNC milling experience, should be patient and very focused to fine detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting up and operating CNC Mill
• Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Using CNC controls and precision measurement tools
• Performing multi-axis machining operations
• Conducting quality checks
• Monitoring machine operations
• Plan and perform rough and finish machining on a variety of machines both CNC and manual.
• You will Perform setups independently.
• Operate and understand advanced machine tools (i.e. CNC).
• Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Candidate must be able to work over 8 hours in a shift
• Crane and hoisting experience a plus
• You must be able to read blueprints/geometric tolerances
• Instrumentation /Gaging skills required. Must be familiar with machinist tools and hand tools (micrometers, verniers, indicators, scales, dial bore gage)
• Must be open to coaching and training with a willingness to learn all machines within a cell
• Some physical effort (avg. 25 lbs)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent; concentration in machining would be a plus.
• Minimum of three years' experience required
