The Machinist #3 loads, operates, and unloads a variety of conventional machines, presses, saws, and other industrial equipment to produce parts according to manufacturing processes. Ensures parts meet specified tolerances using prescribed gauges.

Major Position Responsibilities

Employees will have primary responsibilities in one or more of these job disciplines:

• Qualifier
• Lathes Chamberer
• Broacher Rifling
• Straightener
• Cut Off Saw Operator
• Grinder Cylindrical
• Deep Hole Driller

Additional duties may be assigned by management as required.

Must have the physical ability to frequently lift, move, and adjust items weighing approximately 35 lbs.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills; ability to enter and verify information into written forms or databases as needed.
• Experience of approximately 8 months, including 4 months to 1 year.
• Capability to gauge and inspect parts.
• Basic shop math skills.
