Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) in Manitowoc, WI is seeking an experienced machinist for 2nd shift. The role focuses on setting up CNC centers, dialing in setups, and producing high-quality precision components in a climate-controlled, modern shop.

You’ll work alongside seasoned engineers and machinists, enjoying three-day weekends and ongoing opportunities to improve tooling, processes, and part quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting up CNC centers and producing precision parts.
• Ability to read blueprints and process sheets.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience collaborating with engineers on tooling and design improvements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize CNC machining centers.
• Create and modify toolpaths to improve precision.
• Optimize tooling, feeds, and speeds for efficiency.
• Read blueprints and process sheets to ensure specs.
• Collaborate with engineers on tooling and design improvements.
• Build quality into every part and verify tolerances.
• Improve machining processes and overall efficiencies.
