Job summary

Wieland Group is seeking a skilled Machinist for 1st shift in Pine Hall, NC. The role involves CNC operations, G-code programming, blueprint interpretation, and strict adherence to quality standards. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with bi-weekly pay.

Qualified candidates will have machinist certification or an Associate's Degree, at least 3 years of experience, and familiarity with Mastercam. Waterjet, CMM, and laser measuring experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Machinist certification or an Associate's Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of machinist experience.
• Mastercam experience preferred or quick learning is a priority.
• G-code experience preferred or quick learning is a priority.
• Waterjet cutting experience preferred or quick learning is a priority.
• Ability to read blueprints, orders, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follows safe working procedures.
• Manages the activities of assigned projects.
• Plans and estimates machine shop activities.
• Creates layouts and performs CNC-based machining.
• Performs mechanical alignment using precision tools.
• Performs benchwork and tool grinding.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• CNC programming and modifying programs.
• Plans stock inventory and requirements.
• Suggests machinery upgrades to management.
• Collaborates with the Manager on planning work.
