Salary Range: $28.00 To $33.00 Annually
The CNC Machinist is responsible for operation of 3 and 5-axis Milling machines. Applicant must be able to setup and operate milling machines used for the fabrication of Spacecraft and Aerospace parts to a high degree of competency. This includes entering and running CNC programs, monitoring tool life and cutting quality. Paying close attention to machining during production to insure consistent, high-quality parts. It is critical that the employee have a good sense for fabrication to minimize risk
Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.
Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.
Environment: Typical manufacturing shop floor conditions, directly working with Manufacturing management team and external customers.
Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 03:00 p.m. Incumbents are currently required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime, as applicable by law.
Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Often required; reach with hands and arms; and stoop. Occasionally required to; climb or balance; kneel, crouch , or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
