Job summary

BlueWorx is seeking a Machinist to join our Tulsa team. You will set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts, tooling, and experimental components. The role demands attention to detail and adherence to drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment. Immediate hiring for 1st/2nd/3rd shifts, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts.
• Read blueprints and design sketches for tolerances.
• Set up tooling and fixtures for production.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Ensure parts meet specifications through measurement and inspection.
• Prolonged standing and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines.
• Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
