Blue Origin LLC is seeking experienced machinists to set up, operate, and maintain advanced CNC equipment for spaceflight components. You will program and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines, including multi-axis lathes, while developing critical processes in collaboration with engineers.

Applicants should have 8+ years in CNC machining, familiarity with materials like Inconel, copper, aluminum, and titanium, and experience with Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, or Okuma controls.

Formación

  • 8+ years experience with 3,4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
  • Experience machining nickel-based stainless steel alloys (Inconel, Monel, etc.), copper, aluminum and/or titanium.
  • Experience with CNC machines such as Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, Okuma.

You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of CNC machining and fabrication. You will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC machines and equipment to produce accurate components enabling first article success on tight tolerance, high value parts.Other responsibilities include:Hands on programming, set up and machining of 3, 4 and 5 axis mills, multi axis lathes, and development of critical machining processesWorking with engineering to document and standardize production processesPartner with leadership and engineering to prioritize work based on production schedule and organizational goals.
