Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machinery with precision to produce components that meet detailed specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ascertain machining requirements.
• Select the appropriate tools and determine optimal machine speeds and feeds for each unique project.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure efficient operation and address any machining challenges encountered during runs.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify part dimensions against engineering specifications.
• Proactively identify and report any equipment malfunctions or potential safety hazards.
• Work collaboratively with team leaders to maintain project schedules and improve process efficiency.
• Uphold a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Accurately document production data and downtime, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with CNC and manual machine operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, with a foundational understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Skilled with precision measuring tools and quality assurance techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC controls and program modifications, particularly with systems like Fanuc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High school diploma required, with additional technical training or certification preferred.
