Job summary

Mpp is seeking a skilled machinist to repair and manufacture PM tooling, supporting maintenance, engineering and quality teams in the plant. The role includes fabrication of in-house projects, CAM form programming, and advancing operators' machining skills, including hard milling and use of multiple shop machines.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in machining, experience with lathes, mills, grinders, CNC and wire EDM, and strong blueprint reading and inspection instrument skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational machining schooling is a plus.
• Proficiency with inspection instruments and blueprint reading.
• Experience in PM machining and related industries preferred.
• Familiarity with computer-based processes and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Repair and manufacture PM tooling and adaptation.
• Support maintenance, engineering, quality departments in repair and manufacturing of components.
• Assist in fabrication of in-house projects with Engineering.
• Program complex CAM forms and advance machining skills.
• Operate all machines in the machine shop and maintain safety standards.
