The Donora Service Center for Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a qualified manual machinist for full-time employment in Donora, PA. The role requires off-shift hours, with weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.

The machinist will perform layout, setup, and a range of manual machining tasks including drilling, grinding, and broaching while moving parts through finishing processes. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of manual machining experience and familiarity with horizontal/vertical

• 3-5 years' experience in manual machining.
• CNC machining experience preferred, not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience desired, not required.
• Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, holidays & overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout, setup, and manual machining operations.
• Carry out subassembly, tool setting, and deburring of parts.
• Machining rotors, diaphragms, seals, disks, casings and grinding shafts.
• Move parts, materials, and assemblies through the process.

The position requires off shift availability, weekends and holidays. Occasional voluntary domestic travel opportunities to other Elliott locations. To perform all the required layout, set-up, manual machining, subassembly, tool setting, deburring parts, broaching keyways, dimension checking, movement of parts materials and assemblies process. All shop machining works included but limited to the following: Machining rotors, Machining diaphragms, Machining seals, Machining disks, Machining Casings, and Grinding Shafts. **Qualifications:*** 3-5 years' experience in manual machining or related, manual equipment including but not limited to Horizontal Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills, Grinders, and Drill Presses.
