Job summary

Masemp in the Keene area is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading, precision machining, and hands-on experience with legacy and modern control systems.

This full-time role offers first-shift hours and a direct-hire path. You will operate mills, lathes, grinders, and related equipment, interpret engineering drawings, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school and/or formal machine training preferred.
• 5 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with G-code and M-code programming and fixture/tooling design.
• Experience with Proto Trak SLX and SMX controllers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining and fabrication tasks to exacting tolerances.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot precision components.
• Utilize mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, and other equipment.
• Work with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely product delivery.
• Other tasks as assigned.
