Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Machinist in the United States to machine components using CNC and manual mills and lathes, program and operate 3-4 axis CNC machines, and hand-finish parts. You will read drawings (CAD/CAM) with GD&T, order materials, and maintain shop equipment.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance, strong math skills, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with setting up, programming, editing and operating CNC milling and lathe machines (5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree).
  • Experience with machining metals (aluminum, stainless steel) and other materials
  • Experience with design process and mechanical assembly. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  • U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English
  • Basic MS Windows skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required; ... close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600-$129,300
