Bull Moose Tube Elkhart Indiana is seeking a Machinist to support tool room and production needs by keeping machining work accurate, safe, and on schedule. The role includes operating CNC and manual lathes, mills, drills, and grinders.

You will review prints, tolerances, and materials, coordinate with teammates, document key details, and ensure precise, safe handoffs at shift end.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience.
• Strong lathe knowledge.
• Ability to run CNC and manual equipment listed above.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC lathes and manual lathe work.
• Run mills, drills, and grinders as needed.

What You'll Do

Bull Moose Tube Elkhart Indiana has an opening for a Machinist to support tool room and production needs by keeping machining work accurate, safe, and on schedule.
Responsibilities include operating and setting up CNC lathes and manual lathes, plus mills, drills, and grinders; handling multiple priorities; communicating clearly; using fact-based judgement; and working effectively in a team environment.

On the Floor

You’ll start by reviewing the day's priorities and confirming prints, tolerances, and materials before getting machines ready. Throughout the shift, you’ll move between jobs as needs change, coordinate with teammates to keep work flowing, and document key details so the next handoff is smooth. You’ll pause to check measurements, make small adjustments, and keep your area organized and safe-finishing the day with a clear status update on what’s complete and what’s next.
