  • Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Use CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) to create toolpaths and machining strategies.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for a wide range of materials.
  • Perform precision machining for both prototype and production components.
  • Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM-adjacent tools.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, optimize programs, and improve cycle times.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe machining work areas.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure part accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling upgrades, process optimization, and workflow enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, machining records, and revision control.

  • Strong proficiency with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Hands‑on experience with CAD/CAM programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Solid CAM, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of machining principles, tooling, work holding, and material behavior.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T.
  • Experience machining resins, polymers, or copper.
  • Experience machining tight‑tolerance components for industrial, aerospace, or energy applications.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using digital documentation systems.
  • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
  • Technical degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
