Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant education and job experience.
• Experience machining various materials on CNC equipment.
• 3-axis CNC milling experience required; 4/5th axis desirable.
• CAD/CAM experience required; training available.
• Good understanding of general machine shop equipment and inspection tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings to set up and prep jobs, and understand dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.
• Applicant must possess basic hand tools to perform their duties.
• Willing to work flexible or extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group involved with high-speed wind tunnel testing. Primary responsibilities include operating CNC and manual mills and lathes to fabricate tunnel parts or models to precise tolerances.
