Job summary

Snelling Recruiting and Executive Search in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Machinist I – Tube Shop for steady 2nd shift hours, 3:00–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday. This temp-to-hire position offers a strong path toward permanent employment and a chance to learn about the semiconductor industry with a clean, well-run facility.

You will plan, layout, set up, and operate conventional and automatic machines from blueprints.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related machine shop experience preferred.
• 2+ years of related machining experience required.
• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• Ability to add and subtract decimals.
• Proficient operating machines and reading blueprints/technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, set up, and operate conventional and automatic machines.
• Work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches on production tasks.
• Cut and shape metal to precision dimensions.
• Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions as needed.

Pay Range: $24-26/hr

Location: Broomfield, CO

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
