Entry role focused on training and assisting operators. Performs routine tasks which include cleaning machines, deburring parts, and saw operations.
This position will work second shift Monday - Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am
Compensation: This position starts at $21/ hr and is based on the candidate's experience.
Performs related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required
Subject Matter Exposure. Computer Literate. Inspecting/Examining Ability. Mechanical Dexterity. Machining Aptitude. Housekeeping. Inventory Exposure.
The employee is frequently exposed to guarded moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds using appropriate moving devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and follow instructions, work orders, and engineered drawings. Exposure to hand tools and measuring tools (calipers and gauges). Basic math and computer skills.
Mechanical exposure or Vo-Tech training.
