Responsible for setting up and operating saws, milling machines, NC machining centers and coordinating measuring machines (CMMs) as required.

Required Education/Experience

Graduate of any recognized machinist or tool maker course (e.g., tech school, industrial or Armed Forces program), OR
Minimum of one year experience in set up and operation of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) multi-access machining
All candidates must successfully pass a written machinist assessment.

Preferred Education/Experience

Two-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool Technology
Two years manual machining (mill, turn or drill) experience
Pay (not including Night Shift Bonus)
$28.8990 – $30.2136 /hour starting (entry level machinist)
$30.2136 – $31.0338 /hour after successful completion of training and introductory probation
