Huyett in Minneapolis, KS is seeking a dedicated Machine Technician / Production Associate for 2nd shift. Starting pay is $19.50–$24.50 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

This role operates and adjusts machining equipment to produce quality parts in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, reliability, and a desire to develop skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust machining and turning equipment, performing standard sequences of operations.
• Drilling, boring, grinding, milling, and turning with appropriate tooling.
• Follow detailed instructions and mount tools per setup data.
• Adjust machine and fixture stops to meet tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments to check position and record results on SPC charts.
• Report any program or machine malfunctions or tooling issues.
• Assist with setups or proving of programs under supervision.
