Job summary

Boon Edam Inc. in Lillington, NC is seeking a Machining Tech to setup and perform complex metal forming tasks including cutting, milling, turning, bending, polishing, and minor CNC programming/offsets to complete products for shipping.

You will operate CNC and manual machining equipment, read blueprints, measure parts, document quality inspections, and maintain safe, efficient production while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in CNC machining is a plus.
• 3–5 years experience operating CNC and manual machining equipment; GibbsCAM software experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Recall and edit programs (G-code) and make offsets as required.
• Fabricate holding fixtures to maintain quality and safety.
• Load, initiate machine cycles, unload, and inspect parts.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety; document production data and inspections.

• Goodcommunication(Englishfluency)andorganizationskillswithapositiveattitude
• Mustbeabletoworkovertimeas needed
• Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the job and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate windows systems required
