Job summary

kmmmaryville in Maryville, MO is seeking a manufacturing technician to safely run automated equipment and produce high-quality parts. Starting rate is $20.51 per hour with a $4.35 per hour shift differential to enhance compensation.

You will operate machines, monitor quality, and maintain a clean work area. Responsibilities include handling parts, tooling, and measurements; following QMS/EMS/KPS and OSHA standards; documenting production; and communicating issues to the team.

Responsibilities

• Follow company Policies, QMS, EMS, KPS and OSHA rules.
• Identify parts and lift/move stock using hoists or manual tools.
• Operate, monitor and maintain production equipment.
• Align jigs, fixtures, tools and materials to specs.
• Communicate production needs or issues to the team.
• Perform minor assembly using power and hand tools.
• Replace tooling as required.
• Measure dimensions with precision instruments to specs.
• Follow documentation to ensure safety and quality.
• Record production through proper documentation and tagging.
• Work safely and adhere to health and safety training.

Essential Functions

• Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA.
• Identify parts, lift metal stock or work pieces manually or using hoists, and position and secure them in machines, using fasteners and hand tools.
• Operate, monitor and maintain equipment used in the production process as required.
• Align and secure jigs, fixtures, tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to meet specifications as required.
• Communicate any production needs or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform minor assembly using power tools and hand tools.
• Remove and replace tooling as required.
• Measure and calculate dimensions and tolerances of work pieces using mathematics, precision measuring instruments, and/or fixtures to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Follow related documentation to verify all processes to ensure safety and quality.
• Record production through appropriate documentation, marking and tagging procedures as required.
• Performs job duties in a safe and appropriate manner as well as follows all work and safety rules including any specialized safety and health training.
• Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
