Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Team Lead in machining to guide and support the shop floor, ensuring production targets and KPIs are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, daily start-up meetings, and collaboration with operators to optimize throughput and minimize waste. Candidates should have machining experience and basic SAP/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months machining experience preferred; 1 year in a leadership role.
• Experience in a fast-paced industrial lean environment.
• Intermediate MS Office skills; SAP experience preferred.

Lead, guide, and support the team by coordinating workloads, offering assistance to ensure production targets are achieved and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met. Serve as the subject matter expert.Monitor change over and/or line set up efficiency.
