Krones Inc. seeks a 2nd shift Team Leader for the Machining Department to maintain smooth cross-shift flow, uphold safety and quality, and meet production goals. You’ll lead, train, and mentor operators while coordinating with internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities include ensuring on-time workloads, supervising safety, and using SAP and MS Office to track progress. Prior CNC leadership and blueprint-reading skills are essential for success in this role.

As a 2ndshift Team Leader in our Machining Department, you’ll be a key player in maintaining a smooth flow between shifts, fostering a culture of teamwork, and ensuring that production goals are completed on a timely basis without compromising safety or quality.
Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machine
Set up, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per prints
Edit in G-code and manually program using Mazatrol Control or other applicable machine control
Set up fixtures and come up with setups on the machine
Perform first piece and in-process quality inspections
Set up cutters in holders and adjust height and length
Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specification, and tolerances
Meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements
Use various hand tools to finish parts and check
Use measuring devices like micrometers and calipersto ensure specifications are met
Perform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S)
Use forklift or crane to store and retrieve fixtures and other essential equipment
Operate various machines in the department as needed
