The position requires 5+ years of machining experience and 3+ years in leadership, with a base pay of $30–$35 per hour. Full-time, on-site, Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-3:30PM and Friday 6:00AM-11:30AM.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years machining experience and minimum of 3 years leadership or supervisory experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong hands-on machining experience with milling and turning.
Working knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, setups, and machining processes.

Responsibilities

Lead by example by actively performing machining operations alongside the team.
Supervise, train, mentor, and support machinists to promote quality, productivity, and teamwork.
Provide hands-on technical assistance with machine setups, troubleshooting, and machining challenges.
Coordinate daily production priorities, schedules, and deadlines with the Production and Operations teams.
Monitor department performance, workmanship, and quality standards.

Hands-On Leadership | Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

At Rome Grinding Solutions, we’re looking for an experienced machinist who enjoys leading a team while staying actively involved in the work. This is a working supervisor position—not a desk job!

Our Machining Supervisor will split their time between hands-on machining (approximately 50%) and supervisory responsibilities (approximately 50%). This individual will work side by side with our machinists, providing technical guidance, solving problems, and leading by example while ensuring the department operates safely, efficiently, and productively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example by actively performing machining operations alongside the team.
Supervise, train, mentor, and support machinists to promote quality, productivity, and teamwork.

Base Pay: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
