Machining Set Up Mechanic 2nd shift, Stratford, CT

NSI Industries, a leader in electrical, network infrastructure, and HVAC markets, is experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking Machining Set Up Mechanics for 2nd shift at our Bridgeport Fittings facilities in Stratford, CT.

Shift: 3:45 pm - 11:45 pm

Responsibilities:

• Set up a variety of tapping, threading, and automatic assembly equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Maintain and set up safety equipment and guarding
• Monitor tooling to minimize repairs and meet standards
• Operate tools such as snows, single spindles, automatics, and threading machines
• Perform physical activities including standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

• Mechanical ability

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

100% in plant facilities with extensive noise and machinery operation. Employees will regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
