Metcut Research is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the specimen preparation and machining department in Cincinnati. The role focuses on safety, quality, and meeting customer specifications while driving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has aerospace manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Testing to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of machining experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor team members by planning and overseeing daily tasks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and procedural compliance.
• Develop and maintain training and cross-training plans with records.
• Manage daily production schedules and communicate changes promptly.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Testing, and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize workflow and productivity.
• Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assess needs for shop equipment and tooling.
