Sirius Staffing is seeking experienced Machining Operators for direct-hire opportunities at a leading diesel engine manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS. This role involves operating CNC machinery, monitoring production quality, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years machining experience and a high school diploma or GED.

• Willingness to learn additional CNC machines and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilidades

Machine Operator – Evening Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Pay: $26.15–$31.14/hour DOE + 8% Shift Differential

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Adjust CNC program offsets and manufacturing processes to maintain product specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on filters, automation systems, spindles, and other equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC program offsets and precision measurement tools.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and basic gage measurements.
• Strong math skills and familiarity with TS-16949 quality standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $26.15–$31.14, depending on experience.
• Evening Shift Differential: 8%.
• Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
• Full-Time, Direct-Hire Position.
