Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining environment preferred, but other levels considered.

Responsibilities

• Determine the equipment, tooling, and process design to manufacture products cost-effectively while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation, work instructions, and process specifications for product/process information.
• Provide training and communicate process changes to supervisors and shop personnel.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve product designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Lead process improvement projects to optimize machining and related operations.
• Evaluate and recommend capital equipment with ROI analyses.
• Process Engineering Change Notices and Change Requests promptly and accurately.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency.
• Work on front-end CNC machining processes including programming, brake press, and saw operations.
• Engage with installers and operators to troubleshoot and refine processes.
• Utilize AutoCAD for documentation and design tasks.
